Monthly Sunday MeetingThe Sunday meeting is the most important feature of the Calgary Secular Church. It allows like-minded people the chance to get together, to fellowship, to share stories, to enjoy beautiful music, to have their children get excellent ethical and rational instruction, to be enlightened, and most importantly, to know they are not alone!
We meet on the last Sunday of every month (except for July and August). As demand grows, we will meet more frequently, so watch this space.
Meetings start at 1:00 PM and are at Evergreen Spaces, 1709-8th Ave NE. Please watch for signage inside the building, as there are multiple meeting spaces there.
We usually have a small pot-luck after our Sunday meeting, so please feel free to bring finger foods or something to share.
There is free parking on site. If you take transit, please let us know before hand so we can pick you up at the Calgary Zoo parking lot.
Led by the SpiritsFor a more informal gathering, join us for our monthly pub night! Led by the Spirits pub nights are much the same as our Sunday meetings, but with less home-cooked food and more beer (it's a trade-off). What is the same is the community and sharing, the spirited conversation and the sense being part of something larger than ourselves.
Led by the Spirits occurs on the second Tuesday of every month at 8:00 pm at the The Kilkenny Irish Pub #500-3630 Brentwood Rd NW Calgary AB, T2L 1K8. If you're new, look for the "Calgary Secular Church" sign on the table!
